Please note: This update applies exclusively to our cPanel and DirectAdmin shared hosting customers. If you have a dedicated server, VPS, or colocation setup managing its own mail routing, this change does not affect you and no action is required.

At Web World, we constantly monitor our infrastructure to ensure we are delivering the best performance, security, and value to our clients.

As we continue to optimize our shared hosting environments, including our ongoing deployments and server rebuilds on DirectAdmin, we will be transitioning our outbound email routing and filtering service from MailChannels to JetEmail.

Why are we making this change?

We are constantly evaluating our network for ways to improve reliability and data privacy. After thorough testing, we selected JetEmail. JetEmail provides excellent, enterprise-grade outbound filtering, robust IP reputation management, and high deliverability rates.

Crucially, making this switch ensures that all our clients' outbound email routing remains entirely within the European Union. This strengthens our commitment to data sovereignty and ensures your data stays closer to home. By making this move, we can ensure your emails continue to land reliably in your recipients' inboxes while maintaining our high standards for overall performance and privacy.

What do you need to do?

How this migration affects you depends on how your domain's DNS is managed.

Scenario A: You use Web World's Nameservers (We manage your DNS) You do not need to do anything. We will automatically update your domain's DNS records on our end to ensure a seamless transition. Your email will continue to flow without interruption.

Scenario B: You use External Nameservers (You manage your own DNS) If you manage your own DNS via a third party (such as Cloudflare or your domain registrar), you must update your SPF record to authorize our new routing network. Failing to update this record may cause your outgoing emails to be flagged as spam or rejected by recipients.

Please modify your existing TXT (SPF) record as follows:

  • Remove the old include: include:relay.mailchannels.net

  • Add the new include: include:spf.webworld.email

Your final SPF record should look similar to this (depending on your specific setup): v=spf1 mx a +ip4:217.115.115.247 include:spf.webworld.email ~all

Note: Please be aware that +ip4:217.115.115.247 in the example above is just a placeholder. You should ensure this matches the actual IP address of your existing mail server.
